I did a lot of research which was all positive. Up to now I know they are very good on tarmac, being quieter than the road tyres that I took off This was the best price and delivery was next day.

I am getting used to the gear change now. I have talked to many owners and it appears to be a feature of the car, that chnging from 1st to 2nd to 3rd is a bit like putting a bullet up the spout of a 303 rifle clunk click cluck. You have to put clutch pedal fully down whilst taking foot off of throttle pedal. The revs take about a second and half to drop. Then take it out of 1st If you don`t allow the lag time it snatches out of gear. Let the gear lever slip into neutral and the through into 2nd and same again from second to third. The lag time for the revs dropping I assume is the electronic throttle. Once your used to it it`s not a problem. I am also getting used to not using 1st. This gear is like being in low box. Having said all that it`s a fantastic motor and a pleasure to drive. Definatly a drivers motor I love it. :D

Is it just attached with cable ties?

Author:  Exy [ Sun Feb 04, 2007 5:05 pm ]
Post subject:

Yes the top part is just cable ties. The bottom section I shaped it under front and secured it behind the bumper retaining screws and then tie rapped the top of it.
What I need now is my skid plate for the front. Steve is trying to get distribution for them. So I`m hanging on for the time being. :)

apart from approach and depature those specs aint bad!
Roll over in a fronty is only 45 degrees in standard form!

And i do like your rad protection, i have a bit of perforated stainless in the garage that i was thinking of doing some thing very similar!

Looking good
