Skid plate as just been delivered. It`s big. :D

It looks easy enough to fit, just 8 bolts, but it weighs 16 kilo and I am going to need use of a pit or lift. Also a lift with it  :D  :D  :D

I wish I`d had it on the GV when I went down that bloody hill on the Langdale Quest  There might not have been as much sh1t to swill out of the drivers side, when I had got to the bottom
The GV is still on the dealers forecoart 3 months after I traded it in. glad I didn`t decide to sell it private.

Just been checking my ground clearance since fitting the skid plate.

Road to lowest point on skid plate 152mm.
next lowest is back part of exhaust pipe 180mm.
Then rear silencer 190mm.

So if I don`t hit anything with my skid plate, hopefully I should be OK.

looks good 8) looks strong but not to OTT and heavy
as for clearence it all depends where you go and what you do, the lowest point on the 90 is the diff @ 10.5" and that seems to be ok but i still get stuck. the good thing with yours is that you dont have a beam axle and the skid plate is smooth so when winiching it should slide along rather than sinking in deeper
